Bunker Closed?
There is a fine art to the number of texts you need to send to pretend to be friendly before asking a girl to come to the club. The hotter she is the more friendly texts you send. After 22 back and forth texts with a model I met at a Starbucks on 96th I was ready to ask her to come to Bunker on Friday. And she was going to say “Sure, can I bring friends?” And I was going to reply “Yes that’d be great. We’ll have dinner at 10pm.” That’s when I received a text that Bunker is closed as of today. The fuck?
In a recent wave of nightclub closings, this should come as no surprise. However I’m very upset about it. I love Bunker. So do a lot of people. As I write this post, I’m texting to find out if they’re closed for good or if it’s temporary and they’re just looking for new managers. I probably shouldn’t keep my hopes up. I need a drink. A stiff drink.
